I am currently a faculty at Marquette University. Prior to my appointment at Marquette, I was a faculty at Notre Dame upon graduation at University of Wisconsin-Madison. It is in Notre Dame, that I met some of my first colleagues that have been influential in many things I do and I try to stay in touch. Notre Dame is also where I found what I was really good at, i.e. connecting with students. I think that will always be one of the reasons I wanted to be a professor. Many of my former students at Notre Dame and Marquette have reconnected with me and they have offered help whenever I needed one. This is my official web page at Marquette www.mu.edu/~owt.
As you read my blog, I will refer to my many experiences as a graduate student at Wisconsin-Madison, Notre Dame and at Marquette. I think at each place I learn more about myself.
I think I will always like to be remembered as a professor who cared for you as a student. I want to be remembered as someone who is part of your journey to college regardless of whether you pursued IT as a major and that I am someone who helped you find your passion in life. I want to be someone that you know that you can always ask for help in any issues you encountered in college. I think I have done that for the last 8 years but I know I can always do better as I reflect on my experiences.
